Freshman guard Jaylen Wesley is second on the SMCC men's basketball team in scoring through four games, averaging 13.5 points per game. He finished with a season-high 19 points in the season-opening victory over Bella Vista National, and he added 10 points against Park-Gilbert (JV) and 17 against Benedictine-Mesa (JV). Wesley is also averaging 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
