SMCC Beach Volleyball Battles with Wayne State College

The South Mountain Community College women's beach volleyball team battled Wayne State College (NE) in a pair of matches at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Ariz., on Mar. 7. The Cougars fell in both contests, but Emily Wilson and Sienna Cumbie won as the No. 3 pairs in their second match. 

Cumbie and Wilson rebounded from a three-set loss in the first match to win in three sets in the second contest: 14-21, 21-18, 21-19. Nikole Lunsford and Madison Cadden lost in three sets as the No. 2 pairs in the first contest, as did Claire Burford and Leilani Clark on the fourth court. 

In the second match, Mckenna Androsky and Kristine Garcia fell in three sets as the No. 1 pair.
