SMCC Women's Golf Sophomore Kylie Rehberger Wins ACCAC Fall Preview

Sophomore Kylie Rehberger took home individual medalist honors at the ACCAC Fall Preview Nov. 14-15 at Dobson Ranch Golf Course. Rehberger birdied the final hole of the tournament to fend off a challenge from Mesa CC's Abby Schmidt and Chandler-Gilbert CC's Kaylin Johnson and win the tournament by one stroke. As a team, SMCC finished second to Mesa CC by 13 strokes and the Cougars improved by six strokes in the second round. 

Rehberger carded rounds of 73 and 80 on the par 72 course to finish nine-over 153. Her opening-round 73 was the best score of the event. 

Freshman Angelina Borg-Malec placed seventh with scores of 81 and 78 to finish 15-over 159. Sophomore Trixie Sabulao was eighth at 17-over 161 with rounds of 85 and 76.  

Freshmen Mia Hill and Raquel Pargas tied for 11th at 25-over 169. Hill carded rounds of 82 and 87 while Pargas posted scores of 88 and 81. Freshman Kylie Zeman was 15th at 35-over 179 with scores of 94 and 85.
