Angelina Borg-Malec Wins Aguila Classic Title

Sophomore Angelina Borg-Malec won the Aguila Classic at +15 (159) on Sept. 12-13 at Aguila Golf Course in Laveen, Ariz. Borg-Malec won by one stroke over a rival from Chandler-Gilbert CC, while freshmen Lili Stutz and Kasey Reichard turned in impressive performances in their Cougar debuts. 

Borg-Malec posted rounds of 78 and 81 over the two days on the par-72 course. Kasey finished at +24 (168) and improved by eight strokes in her second round. Stutz finished at +51 (195) and improved by 11 strokes on her second day of competition.
