Freshman Imani Cannon had a season-high 18 digs in the Cougars' 3-1 victory at Phoenix College on Sept. 22. A libero from Glendale, Ariz., she helped lead SMCC to a comeback victory over the Bears and helped the team log a season-high 62 digs, seven more than their previous season best.

In 12 matches this season, Cannon leads the squad with 99 digs for an average of 3.09 per set. She also has six assists and five service aces for the year.
