Freshman Gabreya Garcia leads the SMCC women's volleyball team with 33 total blocks on the year, a combination of 4 solo blocks and 29 block assists. A 5-9 middle blocker from Tolleson, Ariz., Garcia also has 70 kills on 191 attacks this season, 15 digs and 11 service aces. She had a season-high eight kills in a pair of matches, including a 3-1 victory over Western Wyoming CC on Sept. 10. She also added a season-high five block assists in a 3-1 victory over Phoenix College on Sept. 22.
