The South Mountain Community College men's soccer team (0-3) lost 6-0 to Glendale Community College in a non-conference match on Saturday, Sept. 3 at the SMCC Soccer Field. Freshmen Marco Amador and Kevin Tejada each had a shot on goal in the loss. In goal, freshman Jason Martinez played the first half and made five saves, and freshman Max Melendez played the second half and made two saves.

The South Mountain Community College men's soccer team (0-2) lost 10-1 to Phoenix College in a non-conference road match on Aug. 26. Freshman Dylan Lopez scored his first goal of the season in the eighth minute. In goal, freshman Jason Martinez made 10 saves for SMCC.
