SMCC Women's Golf Wins Duel with Pima CC to Conclude 2021 Fall Season

The South Mountain Community College women's golf team defeated Pima CC in the Pima CC Fall Duel Nov. 8-9 at El Conquistador Golf Course in Tucson, Ariz. The Cougars carded rounds of 367 and 374 to defeat the host Aztecs by 85 strokes, and freshman Kylie Rehberger led SMCC and all individuals with rounds of 81 and 83.
At the par-71 course, Rehberger finished at 22-over 164 to defeat her closest rival by 14 strokes and claim individual medalist honors.
Freshman Trixie Sabulao missed third place at the event by one stroke, finishing at 45-over, 187. She put together rounds of 92 and 95 at the event. Fellow freshman Gina Benoche was right on her heels, taking fifth at 46-over, 188. She had rounds of 92 and 96 at the tournament.
Sophomore Tabitha Bitter finished at 60-over, 202 with rounds of 100 and 102, sophomore Alyssa Miner at 71-over 213 and freshman Aria Baker at 77-over, 219.
