Freshman Michelle Balcazar hit two home runs and drove in a season-high five RBIs in the SMCC softball team's 11-10 comeback win over Phoenix College on April 27. Balcazar hit a solo shot in the second and a three-run blast in the third to help lead the Cougars past the Bears. She is batting .338 with 14 runs, six doubles, two home runs, 19 RBIs, and five walks in 29 games this season.
