Rehberger, Cougar Women's Golf Place Second at SMCC Fall Invite

Sophomore Kylie Rehberger finished at even-par 144, including a second-round score of three-under 69, to place second at the SMCC Fall Invite Sept. 19-20 at Aguila Golf Course in Laveen, Ariz. As a team, SMCC took second at the event with a score of 47-over 623 with rounds of 312 and 311. 

Rehberger opened with a three-over 75 to sit in tie for second place and followed that up with a three-under 69 over the final 18 holes. She finished one stroke behind Mesa CC's Presley Pickron, who won the event at one-under 143. Rehberger earned All-District, All-Region and All-ACCAC honors as a freshman in the 2022 spring campaign. 

Freshman Mia Hill tied for seventh at 14-over 158 with scores of 75 and 83, and sophomore Trixie Sabulao (ninth place) was the third Cougar to finish in the top 10 at 16-over 160 and identical rounds of 80.

Freshman Kylie Zeman took 11th at 19-over 163 with rounds of 82 and 81, and freshman Angelina Borg was 12th at 20-over 164 with scores of 83 and 81.
