Cougar Women's Golf Hosts South Mountain Invitational

The South Mountain Community College women's golf team hosted the South Mountain Invitational at Cave Creek Golf Course April 2-3 in Phoenix, Ariz. Sophomore Angelina Borg-Malec placed second at 9-over 153 while freshman Kasey Reichard was sixth at 18-over 162. As a team, SMCC finished third at 183-over, 759.
Freshman Lili Stutz tied for 13th at 38-over 182 and sophomore Kayla Pettet was 18th at 118-over 262.
Borg-Malec had three birdies in her first round and two in her second. Reichard had a birdie on No. 7 in her second round and Stutz birdied No. 18 in her second round.
