Sophomore left-handed pitcher Nikolas Miller tossed six innings of two-hit shutout baseball as the SMCC baseball team defeated Cochise College 7-0 in game one of an ACCAC doubleheader on Saturday, April 6. Miller fanned nine and walked two over his six frames to improve to 7-1 on the season. The Cougars also won game two against the Apaches and moved into a tie for fourth in the Region I Division I standings. In addition to his record, Miller owns a 2.70 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 74 strikeouts in 63.1 innings in the 2024 season.
