Sophomore Amanda Mitan had a team-high 11 kills and hit a blistering .647 on 17 swings as the SMCC women's volleyball team swept Cleveland CC (NC) 3-0 in a non-conference, neutral-site match on Sept. 19. Mitan added three digs, one service ace, and one block assist in the victory over the Yetis. In four matches and 12 sets this season, Mitan has 15 kills and a .267 hitting percentage with five digs and five block assists.
