Freshman shortstop Bobby Pierce Jr. had a sensational season for the SMCC baseball team, helping the Cougars win the ACCAC Division II regular season, Region I Division II Tournament, and Division II West Championships with a berth in the 2025 NJCAA Division II World Series. Pierce Jr. batted .362 in 64 games with 79 runs, 88 hits, 16 doubles, four triples, four home runs, 35 RBIs, 39 walks, and 15 stolen bases. For all that, he earned First Team All-ACCAC Division II and All-Region I Division II honors.
