Rehberger Earns First Team All-Conference & All-Region Honors

SMCC women's golf freshman Kylie Rehberger earned First Team All-ACCAC and First Team All-Region honors for her work on the course during the 2021 spring season. Originally from Chandler, Ariz., Rehberger posted three second-place finishes and averaged a two-round score of 154.5 in six events. 

Rehberger most recently took second at the Paradise Valley Invitational on April 11-12 at Wildfire Golf Club. She finished at 12-over, 156 after an opening round of two-over, 74. 

She also was second at the Lady Thunderbird Invitational (Feb. 2-3) and the South Mountain Invitational (Feb. 19-20). 

At the season-opening Lady Thunderbird Invitational, Rehberger opened with a 77 and improved by two strokes in her second round to finish at eight-over, 152. She posted rounds of 77 and 76 to tie for second at the South Mountain Invitational at 11-over, 153. 

Rehberger also posted top-five finishes at the Estrella Mountian Women's Invite (5th) and the Chandler-Gilbert Invite (5th). 

At the Estrella Mountain tournament, she recorded a 19-over, 163 and carded a nine-shot improvement in her second round, improving from 86 to five-over 77. At the Chandler-Gilbert event, Rehberger finished at seven-over, 151 and carded rounds of 74 and 77. 

She and the Cougars will now travel to Texas to participate in the NJCAA District Championships. The event runs April 17-19 at Hawk Creek Golf Club in Westworth Village, Tex.
