Angelina Borg-Malec Takes Fourth at Lady Thunderbird Classic

Sophomore Angelina Borg-Malec placed fourth at 16-over 160 at the season-opening Lady Thunderbird Classic at Dobson Ranch Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz.. on Feb. 13-14. Freshman Kasey Reichard posted a 27-over 171 and fellow freshman Lili Stutz finished at 28-over 172 over the 36 holes of the event. 

Borg-Malec carded an 81 in her first round and improved by two strokes in her second round. Reichard opened with an 82 and recorded an 89 in her two rounds, Stutz posted scores of 80, which included her first career eagle. (see photo below), and 92. Sophomore Kayla Pettet played the first round and shot a 145.
