Emma Fisher, Kylie Rehberger Named WGCA All-American Scholars

Sophomore Emma Fisher and freshman Kylie Rehberger earned All-American Scholar honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association for their work in the classroom, the WGCA announced. Fisher, who is transferring to William Woods University to continue her intercollegiate golf career, and Rehberger, who earned All-District honors for her play on the course, posted a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and were among a total of 1,485 women's collegiate golfers to receive the award.

Originally from Chandler, Ariz., and a graduate of Basha High School, Fisher played in 13 team tournaments over the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

In 2022, she played in six tournaments in the 2022 spring and tied for 17th at the Paradise Valley Invitational at +52 (196). She also tied for 20th at the Chandler-Gilbert Invite at +44 (188) and finished 21st at the Pima Women's Invite at +53 (199).

Fisher finished 45th at +89 (305) at the 2022 NJCAA Southwest District Championships as the Cougar team placed eighth at the event. William Woods University is an NAIA institution in Fulton, Mo. 

Also from Chandler, Ariz., Rehberger earned All-District, All-Region and All-Conference honors in 2022. She posted five top-five finishes, placed second at three spring tournaments, and had a two-round scoring average of 154.5. 

She tied for 52nd at +57 (345) at the NJCAA Division I Women's Championships May 9-12 in Sanford, Fla., at Mayfair Country Club, and posted an eighth-place finish at the 2021 NJCAA Southwest District Championships. Rehberger posted five top-five finishes and placed second at three spring tournaments.
