Angelina Borg-Malec Claims Chandler-Gilbert Invitational Individual Medalist Honors

Sophomore Angelina Borg-Malec won the one day, 36-hole Chandler-Gilbert Invitational at Los Colinas Golf Club in Queen Creek, Ariz., on Wednesday, Nov. 2. The French sophomore carded a score of +10 (152) to edge an opponent from Chandler-Gilbert CC by one stroke. Freshman Kasey Reichard took fourth  at +17 (159) and freshman Lili Stutz placed eighth at +27 (169).   

Borg-Malec, who won the Tucson Invitational and Aguila Classic titles earlier this fall, posted scores of 77 and 75 on the par-71 course to win the individual medalist honors by one stroke. Reichard carded rounds of 84 and 75, while Stutz recorded rounds of 88 and 81.
