Named Division III Golfer of the Year as a freshman and junior ... earned three first team all-state honors ... placed fifth as a freshman at the state tournament ... improved to fourth as a junior in the state tournament ... involved in HOSA, NHS and Student Council ... graduated in 2020. 

Personal

Son of Melissa and Rocky Wright ... has one sister, Valerie ... lists the TPC Sawgrass as his dream course to play and Pinehurst #8, TPC Scottsdale, Grayhawk, Troon, Troon North and Dove Mountain as his favorite courses he has played ... would choose Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino and Greg Norman to complete a dream foursome ... lists Brooks Koepka as his favorite golfer, the U.S. Open as his favorite major and the 16th hole at the TPC Scottsdale and the Phoenix Open as his favorite golf tradition ... names his great grandfather as his personal hero because he was the only golfer in his family and although he passed away when RJ was five, RJ knows he is watching and guiding me in the right direction.
