Cougar Volleyball Sweeps American Indian College

The South Mountain Community College volleyball team defeated American Indian College 3-0 (25-15, 25-11 and 25-17) at home on Oct. 18. Madison Wampler and Quinci Dalley each had 10 kills for the Cougars and Mackenzie Cumbie added a team-best 27 assists as SMCC swept AIC. 

The Cougars came out of the gates on fire, hitting .500 (16 kills, 28 total attacks) in the first set. They would end up hitting .322 in the three-set victory. 

Dalley hit .471 on 17 swings and added two digs and solo block. Wampler hit .381 in the match and added six digs to her final stat line. Kaley Hosler led SMCC with 12 digs.
