Bio

Former SMCC baseball standout Justin Quinn joined the Cougars as an assistant coach in the 2023 summer. Quinn spent three seasons at SMCC and then transferred to Oral Roberts University, where he helped lead the Golden Eagles to the 2023 Men's College World Series in Omaha, Neb. With the Cougars, Quinn works with the outfielders and hitters and handles other administrative duties as assigned.

Quinn enjoyed a stellar 2023 season, earning Summit League Tournament Championship MVP and Second Team All-Summit League honors. He batted 355 with 70 hits, 56 runs, 11 doubles, seven home runs, 40 RBIs, and eight stolen bases while starting 47 games. In game three of a Super Regional at Oregon, Quinn belted the game-winning two-run double in the bottom of the ninth to send ORU to the College World Series.

He also spent 2022 with ORU, where he batted .280 with 35 hits, 24 runs, four doubles, three triples, one home run, 21 RBIs, and four stolen bases.

Quinn spent 2019, 2020 and 2021 at SMCC, earning 2021 All-Region I Division I Second Team and First Team All-ACCAC honors. He batted .314 over his Cougar career while posting a .385 on-base percentage and a .508 slugging percentage.

Quinn attended Basha High School in Chandler, Ariz.
