Bio

Chris Diaz is entering his 5th season during the 2021-22 season. Diaz is responsible for recruiting, player development, graphic design, on the floor coaching and video. During the 19-20 season, he helped South Mountain to a top 20 team GPA in the country and recruited 2 all conference selections. In the last 4 years, he has been responsible for helping send 25 sophomores to the next level.
 
During the 2020-21 season, Diaz served as the head coach of Glenview College Prep. There, he led his squad to a 20-12 mark while playing some of the top high school programs in the country. Coach Diaz had 10 seniors receive college scholarships while having a 3.3 team GPA.
 
Chris is also the founder of Hoops for the Future, an organization that provides free basketball camps with an emphasis on career advising. Diaz is currently serving as the Basketball Program Director for Skyline Prep. 
 
Diaz has also worked many high-profile camps including the NCAA College Basketball Academy, Marquette University Summer Camp, Grand Canyon University Summer Camp, Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo, Athletes of Tomorrow Showcase, Ganon Baker San Diego Camp, Top Gun Winter Camps and Devin Booker’s camp. He has also worked with several NBA and professional basketball players during their summer workouts.
 
Diaz graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2017 with a degree in Marketing. While in his undergrad, he served as the Head Coach for the GCU Club Basketball team. He also served as a practice player for the GCU Women’s team for one season.
