The South Mountain Community College men's soccer team (0-5, 0-2 ACCAC) fell 5-1 to Pima Community College in an Arizona Community College Athletic Conference contest at SMCC Soccer Field.
Freshman Dylan Lopez scored the final goal of the contest, pouncing on a headed pass from freshman Logan Mazaros in the 85th minute for his second goal of the season. Mazaros recorded his first assist of the season and Lopez finished with a team-high five shots in the contest. Freshman Marco Amador had three shots and placed two on goal for the Cougars.
In net. freshman Jason Martinez made seven saves over 90 minutes of action. The Cougars finished with 10 shots in the contest and forced four saves from the Aztecs goalkeepers.
