Bio

Brandon Telesco is in his third season overall as an assitant coach, and first season as the associate head coach, for the South Mountain Community College softball team in the 2021-22 academic year. A private hitting coach for several collegiate and professional baseball and softball players. Telesco works with Cougar hitters and outfielders. 

In 2020, he helped orchestrate the Cougar offense to several ACCAC statistical highs including team batting average, stolen bases and extra base hits. 

Telesco was an accomplished prep baseball prospect who had his career derailed by multiple injuries. He underwent Tommy John surgery and endured several arm and elbow injuries during his collegiate career before turning to coaching and scouting. 

He attended Mt. San Antonio Junior College and San Diego Christian, ultimately completing his Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership at Arizona State University in 2018.
