Bio

Pedro Mendoza was named head coach of the South Mountain Community College men's soccer team before the 2022 season. Mendoza has worked as a head coach for numerous club and high school programs in Arizona and California. 

Mendoza has worked as coach at Westminster and Marina High Schools in California, and has worked with Phoenix Rising Football Club as an age-group head anad assistant coach. He also worked as a trainer coach at skills clinics put on by CDA Slammers and Fullerton Rangers in California. 

As a player, Mendoza earned All-League honors at Maria High School (CA) and played three seasons at Hope International University, an NAIA institution in Orange County, California. He also played several seasons of indoor professional soccer.
