The South Mountain Community College women's soccer team (0-11-1, 0-8-1 ACCAC) lost 8-0 to Phoenix College in an ACCAC road contest on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Sophomore Lucy Millan made eight saves in net for SMCC, and Nayeli Ixtalaban and Keyla Garcia had shots for the Cougars.
Phoenix College scored three goals in the first half and added five in the second. The Cougars finished with one corner kick and committed two fouls.
