The South Mountain Community College women's soccer team (0-7-1, 0-4-1 ACCAC) lost 8-0 to Cochise College in an ACCAC contest at the SMCC Soccer Field on Sept. 16. Freshman Marian Oliva made nine saves in net and three Cougars recorded shots on goal in the contest.
The Apaches scored three times in the first half and added five goals in the second. Oliva made five stops in the first half and four in the second.
Offensively, Keyla Garcia, Valeria Rodriguez and Alicia Nicholson had shots for SMCC.
