The South Mountain Community College women's soccer team (0-8-1, 0-5-1 ACCAC) lost 12-0 to No. 11 Arizona Western in an ACCAC contest at the SMCC Soccer Field on Sept. 19. The Division I Matadors scored six goals in each half to defeat the Cougars.
Sophomore Lucy Millan made 16 saves in net in more than 86 minutes for the Cougars. Sophomore Valeria Rodriguez posted a shot for the Cougars. SMCC committed four fouls and were whislted for offsides once.
