Sophomore outfielder Marcus Romero had a powerful week at the plate for the SMCC Baseball Team, finishing 5 for 12 with two doubles, three home runs, six runs, five RBIs, a walk, and a stolen base in four games. He hit a pair of home runs in a 10-6 victory over Mesa CC on April 1, and added a solo shot on April 5 against Pima CC. Romero is batting .284 with 20 runs, five doubles, one triple, four home runs, 19 RBIs, and nine stolen bases in 32 games.
