Sophomore Jaylen Wesley was named the NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week on Feb. 7 after helping lead the SMCC men's basketball team to victories over Scottsdale CC and Glendale CC. He scored 29 points in both victories and added 11 rebounds against the Artichokes. in 22 games this season, Wesley is averaging 26.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
